italia.it portal closed down after burning EUR 45 Million Monday, January 21, 2008

After 3 years, the pharaonic portal to promote Italy’s tourism, italia.it, has been closed down. €45 Million have been spent on the project (yes, that’s Millions, and the currency is Euros…).
